A variety of books are displayed, all centered around the theme of "letters"—including books that feature letters, epistolary novels, letter collections, writing guides for letters, passages you'll want to quote, and even books you might want to send along with a letter.

As a special limited-time in-store event, Bunkitsu, a bookstore conceptualized as "a place for encountering books" and renowned for helping people discover their perfect read, now offers you the opportunity to write two types of letters for a limited period: "Letters to the Future" and "Letters to Someone."

◆"Letters to the Future"
Write down the emotions and thoughts you have in this very moment while they're fresh, and we'll deliver the letter one year later.

◆"Letters to Someone"
You can write a letter to another customer at Bunkitsu while you're in the store.

When you write a "Letter to Someone," you'll also be able to read letters written by other Bunkitsu customers in the box.
By writing a "Letter to Someone," you can select and read one letter from the many anonymous submissions left by other Bunkitsu patrons in the box.
This offers a unique and profound experience, allowing you to connect with a stranger who shares the same space.

Many people using the paid space have written down their precious memories.
Some visitors even spent over 30 minutes writing their letters.
